OT but the WA trial results are up and holy crap! Lauren competed a 6.8BB routine which is awesome under the new code!

Her DV were VT -5.3, UB-5.5BB-6.8, FX-5.3.

Hopefully she can boost her floor a little but maybe it is to do with her injury.

Emily's top DV were VT -5.3UB-4.8, BB-5.1, and FX-4.8 so she is coming along nicely too.

That is a very high D score under the new code. She is probably not fully fit yet because of her injury so you would have to think she would improve. One of Emily's bar routines had a total score of 5.400, I wonder what went wrong. I kind of hope Lauren goes to worlds as a beam/floor specialist because if she hits you would think she would do well on beam. She could do AA i guess but considering she is probably the best Australian on a single apparatus in contention for worlds I think it would be good for two others to have the AA spots and have Lauren focus on her beam and floor.

Lauren's Beam was amazing. I didn't know that it had 6.8 SV but I'm not surprised. It was acro skill after acro skill. I wish I had taken more notice but I was really there to see the 6's. I remeber thinking it was like watching a floor routine on the beam. I will pay more attention at states (19th June)and try to report the content.

Do you know why Natalia did not compete - is she still injured?
