Nanning Catchup

For anyone that missed it at the time (and believe me, blink and you would have), an awesome Youtuber has put up Australia's bars rotation from 2014 Worlds prelims, the only ones captured on China TV.

Check out the individual routines here.

Cant wait to see Aimee Warnock, I thought she had quit. Should have a lovely beam.

Some girls repeating IDP10 but quite a few very young ones from WAIS and Victoria.

I know, I love Aimee! She's so beautiful to watch.

Alysha Koloi has been recovering from injury sustained earlier in the year. Not sure about Alysha Djuric.

Im picking Georgia Godwin out of seniors, not many at National Clubs.. I also think Paige James or Aya Meggs are contenders for IDP10. Talia Folino is also a big star!

Sorry I meant Paige and Aya for Junior.

Junior International Gold Medal predictions:

All Round - Aya Meggs
Floor - Paige James
Bars - Darcy Norman
Beam - Emily Whitehead
Vault - Paige James

I prefer Yasmin Collier for beam. Emily is more a floor worker. Looking forward to some surprises in Junior!

Why is Tahlia even doing 10 again? She should be moved up to junior. Who for 2nd and 3rd level 10?

You can do IPD10 with quite a few bonuses or with very little difficulty. Obviously Talia is accumulating her skills and staying in IDP10 till next year. She is only 13! Turning 14 next year so that makes her perfect for Junior. Some girls are younger doing IDP10 but you will find they have a very low difficulty. Some girls in IDP8 may have the same level of difficulty. The levels can be quite misleading.

Yes I completely understand that but when you have won Idp 10 at Nationals, it is time to move up. She would be competitive in junior so move up I say. She is a perfect junior age. If she hadn't won IDP 10 I would understand. Then again the competition at this years Nationals for Idp 10 was dismal.

Yes I agree. I also believe there was not enough competition in IDP10 at Nationals. Every man and his dog seems to be competing at 10 at clubs this year. I would say there will be a great range of results, with some newbies just testing the water and Talia bringing some amazing skills on beam and bars especially. I think she has an FTY for vault?

Why would you leave someone like Tahlia in idp10 she obviously has skills that could rival the best juniors. I could only imagine that Waverley are being strategic and not putting Emily Whitehead against Tahlia , maybe they want Emily to place in Juniors and Tahlia to place in 10. Waverley then would have strong competitors in each level giving them the win in every international Level . Not a bad strategy I suppose.
